Senior Exam Exemption policy

I.              MANDATORY HOMEROOM on Friday, 5/24/19 – All seniors must to report to homeroom at 9:00 am on Fri, 5/24 to pick up their final Financial Obligation list, Senior Exam Exemption forms, and a handout detailing Baccalaureate, Honors Assembly, Senior Picnic, Rehearsals, and Graduation. 

II.         If you have not picked up your CAP AND GOWN, please see Mr. Butler asap.  Your $60 graduation fee must be paid in order to receive your cap and gown.

III.        Pay all FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS (fees, library, cafeteria, athletics, clubs, etc) so that you will be able to receive your graduation tickets without delay.  Beginning Tuesday, May 28th only cash or money orders will be accepted as payment for financial obligations (no checks).

IV.        Extra GRADUATION PARKING TICKETS will be available for $7…more details soon!

Wed, 6/12 (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) – Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal/Senior Picnic/Ticket Distribution

Thu, 6/13 (NOON) – Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal/Senior Class Picture/Bus to Siegel Center

Thu, 6/13 (3:00 pm) – Graduation Ceremony at the Siegel Center

Seniors will receive a print out of financial obligations with their report card on Tuesday February 12. All fees must be paid prior to purchase of prom tickets and payment for senior trip. Prom tickets go on sale on Monday April 15. All senior fees should be paid in full by Friday April 12th to be eligible to purchase prom tickets.

*As a reminder, attendance, grades, and discipline will be considered as pre-requisites for purchasing prom tickets.

February 25th- Senior Parent Meeting at 6:30pm in the Library to discuss “The Road to Graduation

November 17: 9am to Noon Super FAFSA Project Event. School Counseling team, along with the support of GRASP and local Financial Aid Representatives will be assisting students and parents with the completion of the FAFSA application.

We invite you to come and receive support as you complete this necessary step in the college admissions process. There will be refreshments/snacks, freebies those who complete their FAFSA during this event. The more senior participants the higher the chance of receiving a SENIOR CLASS PRIZE!!!!

Review the attached documents that highlight what you need to bring with you to the event to complete your FAFSA application. Please be sure that your student is present and that they bring their HCPS laptop. Oct. 10–   Senior Convocation. Ladies: White dress, white skirt/shirt, or white pants/shirt. White Shoes (no wedge or colored heel) Men: White Shirt/Dark Tie Dark Pants (black/brown) Dark Shoes (black/brown)
Oct 1/2– Cap and Gown Distribution
Sept. 29 – $60 Senior Fees due
Sept 29– Senior Picture Make-up Day. If you have taken your picture at an outside studio, and wish for it to be in the yearbook, please submit it to Ms. Williams in Rm 1318 by November 3rd
